The Key Club is a club that was created to develop leadership and build character in students. It is affiliated with The Kiwanis Club of Conway. This club hosts homecoming, Mr. CHS, and the pancake breakfast. Each events profits go to a charity, for example, the funds raised from Mr. CHS is gifted to March of Dimes. As of now there are 50 members in the club and the officers are Colby Chestnut, Kira Hamilton, Terrie Booth, and Caroline Anderson. The sponsor, Mrs. Moore, explains that “This is a student led organization which provides it’s members an opportunity to serve their community and contribute to the City of Conway. Key Club also organizes the Homecoming parade and halftime program. Also every year a “Key Club Sweetheart” is nominated by it’s members, this girl is usually a member of the Homecoming Court, is highly looked upon by her peers, and she is usually very involved in the school.
